We are committed to preserving and sharing the history and culture of the textile mills and the surrounding communities. The museum receives the bulk of its funding from donations.
Your tax deductible donation provides core operating funds to ensure the continuance of the museum’s programs and outreach. Every penny we receive goes towards developing our exhibits and programs, research, maintaining our collections, operating the museum, and providing special events.

From an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you are at least age 70-1/2, you can make a gift directly from your eligible IRA. The IRS doesn’t treat this distribution amount as income to you, thereby lowering your taxable income. At age 73 the gift amount can count towards your required minimum distribution (RMD).
